    Is it Really Allama Iqbal Poetry? Its against the Quranic verse (Surah Yasin)
    [36:40]" لَا الشَّمْسُ يَنبَغِي لَهَا أَن تُدْرِكَ الْقَمَرَ وَلَا اللَّيْلُ سَابِقُ النَّهَارِ ۚ وَكُلٌّ فِي فَلَكٍ يَسْبَحُون"
    whose translation is something like this "It is not for the sun to catch up with the moon, nor does the night surpass the day; and each one of them floats in its orbit."

  3. This is Allama Iqbal's poetry of the year 1910. Muslims in India had almost lost their entity as a nation. They had become the most oppressed community in British ruled India. To reflect this inferior situation of Muslims Iqbal has written "Shikwa". Above stanza is one of the 31 stanzas of "Shikwa". After that in 1913, Iqbal has written "Jawabe Shikwa" which is nothing but the response of Almighty for "Shikwa"
