Aarzu e wasL e Janaa'n mein sehar hony Lagi
Zindagi Manind e Shamma Mukhtasar hony Lagi,

Raaz-e-uLfat khuL na jaaye baat reh jaye meri,
Bazm-e-Janaa'n mein iLaahi Chashm tar Hony Lagi,

Ab shakeeb-e-DiL kahan Hasrat hi Hasrat Reh Gai,
Zindagi Ik khwab ki surat basar hony Lagi,

Yeh TaLism-e-Husn hai ya k Ma'aaL-e-IshQ hai,
Apni nakaami hi apni Raah-Ber Hony Lagi,

Un sy wabasa umeedein jo bhi thein wo mit Gaiyee'n,
Ab tabiyyat Aap apni Charah-Gar hony Lagi,

Wo Tabassum tha k BarQ-e-Husn ka Aijaaz tha,
Kaayinaat-e-Jaan-o-DiL Zair-o-zabar hony Lagi,

DiL Ki dharrkan barh gai Aankho'n mein Aansu aa gaye,
GhaaLbann meri taraf un ki nazar hony Lagi...!!!
